Your blood pressure is too high as you already know. Even when the lowest was 138/98 that is still too high also. Normal blood pressure is 120/80 or less. Yes 30 is young, but being young does not make anyone obsolete from high blood pressure or any other disease. At 37 I had open heart surgery! You should schedule an appointment with your physician immediately to have this checked out and start medications. If you are over weight like I was, simply losing 15 pounds and eating a more healthy diet can decrease blood pressure (it worked for me) and now I am just on a low dose of a BP med where I was on a higher dosage before. Please set up an appointment to be seen immediately.
Best wishes to you.

sir i am 38 yrs old. I measured my BP in the morning and it is 108 (min) over 68 (min) to 117 (max) over 72 (max) and the average reading was 112/74. In the evening the average reading was 125 over 84. All the readings are by my home monitor (good imported machine from Accure). But when ever I visit my doctor the first reading is 140 over 100 and she take a second reading after 5 mins. it is 130 over 90. She has prescribed me 20 mg Telmikind to be taken in night. I am confused and worried for last 1 year. I have stopped all bad habits like drinks, cigarette. Not eating meat, chicken but taking fish twice a week. not taking any sugary products like cold drinks. Restricted taking salt. Doing 45 mins cycling daily (stationary at home) and i have lost 8-10 Kg in last one year. I am nearly 6 feet and my weight is 86 Kg. Done all tests and it is O.K. including, ecg, echo and TMT. Please advise what to do.
I work at a pharmacy and there is one of those blood pressure machines that I use often to check my blood pressure. Usually, these are the results: Diastolic - 140 Systolic - 75 BPM - 55 I know that a healthy blood pressure is 120/80, so the 140 concerns me. Is that too high, and should I see a doctor? I am 21 years old and in otherwise good health, exercise regularly and follow a moderately healthy diet. I do eat too much sodium, and I know that s something I need to work on. I think that my heart rate is low because I do a lot of cardio training, and HIIT (high intensity interval training).
