In Afp Test It Is 7 And Low Fluid For 17 Weeks Pregnancy, Can We Save The Baby?
I'm 17 weeks 3days I had a afp test about 2 weeks ago and it came back high a 7 had a ultrasound on Monday and the doctor said the baby has very low fluid and won't make it and its nothing he can do but the baby heartbeat was 159 its there anything I can do to save this baby
Hi.. Gone through your queries. At 17 weeks you really can not do much intervention if fluid is low. More over AFP value and low fluid both are directing towards any supected congenital problem of the baby, if it is so then continuing pregnancy further is not much helpful. In your future pregnancy you should consult your doctor and get these tests done very early in first trimester itself some blood tests and scan to know the chances of affection.
