In 1999 I began have moderate to severe pain around my navel intermittently. Over a period the pain was in my entire abdomen. with the foll. s/s weight loss during that perios 39 lbs loss of appetite , severe constipation and frequent retching and nausea and vomiting mostly bile. after several hospitalizations and expl. laparotomy with no specific findings. a cholecystectomy was done with no relief. In 2004 I had tpn for 7 months with very little weight gain. Finally a MRA revealed I had a stenosis of the Superior Mesenteric artery which was treated withangioplasty. the pain was relieved greatly but the generalized pain continues to date. what damage could have been done to my small intestines/ i suffer from Celiac Disease and I am aware of malabsorbtion buu my problem is I am very weak feel malaise and always tired
