Im Having This Pain In My Upper Abdomen. I Recently

Im having this pain in my upper abdomen. I recently had long bout (4 weeks) with pneumonia with lots of coughing and sinus pressure, along with a chest x-ray and ct scan by two different doctors. They chalked all my symptoms up to the pneumonia except one surprise. The 2 xrays and CT scan showed that my diaphragm was covering approx. 1/2 of my lung, which doctors said could be causing the difficulty breathing. This makes sense and explains my difficulty breathing all through my pneumonia. My question is how and why is my diaphragm covering my lung all of sudden and am I going to have to deal with this issue permanently? I can't stretch while laying down on bed with it cramping up and sending extremely sharp pains throughout my back and abdomen. Also, I can't bend over while standing with the extreme pain in upper abdomen. Any advice?
