Im having a problem with my lips where the outside is dry and on fire. My lips feel dry but aren't dry to the touch. My lips have a constant burn like fire. I had this last year for a few weeks when the weather was also cold and I woke up one morning with my lips all dry and peeling. It hurts to smile even. The outside lining of the lips are dry and have very small red raised bumps around them. Nothing helps from chapstick to blistex. I get minimal relief when I put peroxide on it once a day. Is bactroban an option to use here as I have some at home from a recent infection of MRSA?
