I'm an MRI tech and my mother recently had a chest x-ray after being sick with "bronchitis" and was put on and finishing her antibiotics. they found an opacity in the right upper apex of her lung and she's been coughing for weeks. I suggested she ask for a CT chest because my father died from mesothelioma and she worked for the same company he did. Can you shed anymore light on what that opacity could be after weeks of coughing and finishing her antibiotics? Thank you!
