I'm A 50 Year Old White Male. At The Bottom

I'm a 50 year old white male. At the bottom of my sternum, I think it's called the sternal notch, where you find the xiphoid process. I frequently have what feels like a muscle cramp. A couple of days ago I was feeling in that area and I can feel a small lump in the area of the sternal notch but on the right side of center. It's not tender or painful to touch or palpation. I have not received any known injury to this location. Wondering if this is something I need to receive immediate attention or wait until my next wellness visit in about a month. Any idea what this might be and are tumors common in this area? Thank you.
