Iced For Seiver's. Now Pain After His Heal. Round Circle Whitish In Color And Within There Is Darker Colored. Ice Burn?

How do i know if i should see a doctor if i suspect ice freezer burn? Iced my son's heal because of Seiver's but he has been complaining of a different kind of pain on his heal for 3 days now. We suspect ice burn. A round circle whitish in color and within that circle there is a smaller darker colored, not quite purple, but darker in color. Very tender to touch. Thanks

Hi, any abnormal pain or appearence will alarm to see a doctor. The whitish thing is the burn, and death of the tissue, there, and the central dark thing is the blood and oozing of the tissue fluids. The whitish thing will go away by peeling, and the dark fluid is expelled and new tissue repair the heal. So immediately consult a surgeon for preventing the secondary infection.
Thank you.
