I have had a cough for 5 weeks. Chest X-ray is clear. I have been having vocal cord spasms due to cough. No post basketball drip. No sinus congestion. PCP has made referral for me to see ENT this Tuesday. Mucinex doesnt help. Hydromet cough liquid rx does help control cough. What could I have? My husband started with same symptoms minus vocal cord spasms 1-2 weeks after me.
