I went to the doctor because my leg below the knee had a tender spot to the touch and when I got up in the morning near my ankle was some pain, this pain would lessen the longer I was up. He set up an ultra sound for the following Monday, this was Friday on Saturday morning I got up and my ankle was swollen and there was across the top of my foot. the swelling would not go down even with an ice pak, Sunday morning my whole foot was swollen. I had the ultra sound yesterday but have not heard from the doctor, does this sound like a blood clot? and what should I do?
