I was taking clonidine blood pressure med for 2 years

I was taking clonidine blood pressure med for 2 years but now I'm taking Spironolactone due to alopecia. The clonidine helped me get a good night rest. I have been on Spironolactone for 3 days & I haven't got any sleep at night. Do I need to contact my Dr or can I take a over the counter med in order for me to get some sleep. I worked 10 hours a day & I feel like cramp in the morning time because I haven't had sleep. Can you help me please

My brother has high blood pressure and had a stroke at the beginning of the year, and then a couple of months he had a very bad car accident. The doctor s told him he was border line diabetic, as well. My question is this, does he really need to be taking 3 blood pressure meds? One of the pills he takes makes his leg hurt very bad, and he doesn t know which one it is. I have told him to go talk to the doctor, but it s a money issue with him. He really can t afford the visit and doesn t have any insurance. The following is a list of the meds he is taking: Metformin--Diabetes 2 med Enalapril--Blood Pressure Spironolact--Blood Pressure Hydralazine--Blood Pressure Metoprolol--Heart Plavix--Stroke Med

Have history of what doctors diagnosed as malignant high blood pressure over five years ago..I take meds regularly, however, last few weeks pressure continues to be high for example today it is 238 over 138. Should I go to emergency room or see if additional meds will lower it? I am 5 6 and 135 pounds. Was morbid obese 10 years ago 280 pounds but had gastric bypass surgery..have history of anemia but no other chronic issues except episodic depression - I do have issues around stress. Could be that.
