I was recently discharged from the hospital after a month stay for a severe COPD Exacerbation which included a 9 day intubation. I normally have tacharydia during my stays for this, but bounce back within a week or so. This time, instead of bouncing back my tacharydia isn't getting worse, (HR in last two days ranging from 118-154. Also, beginning today, which has not happened since I had open heart surgery to replace a bad aortic valve and portion of valve which had aneurysm. (Back on 9/5/12) I've had swelling in my feet & calves. I should mention that they gave me an ultra sound & a bubble test of my heart during this hospital stay and going nothing irregular......so......any guesses?
