I Was Prescribed 12.5 Mg Metoprolol Succinate ER, Once Per

I was prescribed 12.5 mg metoprolol succinate ER, once per day, by cardiologist to assist with pvc's from thyroid issues. I took it only every other day & Pvc's improved after 2 weeks and want to wean off. Cardiologist said to go to every 3rd day and then stop taking. However, this is 2nd day after not taking the drug and anxiety is horrible. Do you have a recommended weaning regimen for this drug to help me?
