Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was fused in November 2005 ,last year I had pedicle screws breach the L4 nerve rootI had Hardware removed and L4 cleaned up hemilaminectomy. Also recently I was told the pain I am dealing with is due to a 6mm spondylolesthesis that was fused without decompression I have a flattened left side nerve root. stenosis and foot drop. Right side stenosis is moderately severe. I am ready to take a gun to my head but, a competent surgeon said no way. There is a high morbidity with correcting this complex problem. A gun to my head is rather morbid to me does this mean there is no correction of this 10 year fusion. Your opinion would be welcome. Mr On The Edge Take rupees and shove it
