I was experiencing pain in my big toe on my right foot for 2 day. I thought I might have an ingrown toenail. Today day 3 it was to painful for me to ignore. I took my shoe and sock off and noticed that the skin was inflamed around the nail and it looked like I was holding pus or a fluid. I sterilized a needle and inserted it into the bottom of the nail that appeared like pus. Then I took it and inserted it into the top of the toenail underneath the nail. A light bloody pus oozed out of both insertions. I'm applying hydrogen peroxide to it now. It feels a bit better but I know for a fact I will lose the nail. It's loose. I should mention that the bottom of where the toe meets the base of the foot looks bruised.
