I was diagnosed with strep two weeks ago. I was put on antibiotics. Finished them and still had soar throat and coughing and flem. My epiglottis was red, swollen and had white spots. Was put on second antibiotic, cough medication and giving a steroid shot. Been on 2nd antibiotic for 6 days. My epiglottis is back swollen and white spots and I'm still coughing all day and night. My throat is soar fills like food is hung in it. i'm getting charlie horses in my stomach from coughing so much. I have 4 more days of antibiotic. Should I go back to the doctor for the third time or wait and finish the 4 days of antibiotics?
