I Was Diagnosed With Condyloma Twice; First Time In 1990

I was diagnosed with Condyloma twice; first time in 1990 (my husband had an affair) and they did cryo surgery to remove a layer of cells. That got rid of it and I moved on. Later, in 1993 I got them again with my 2nd husband (assumed they were from my 1st husband) then this time much more serious, lots of lesions inside and out. I had to have laser surgery and then followed up with the acid treatments. It was extremely painful, but once they were all off and my Dr. said I was now "clean" I assumed I was then free of the disease and clean sexually. Now after some time I was divorced again and am in a relationship with a man and disclosed to him that I had Condyloma previously. He wanted to check online and NOW I learn that Condyloma is not curable and that I am at risk to him should we have unprotected sex together. Is that really true? I have not had a break out in 22 years! Please advise.
