I was 34 years old when I had an AVM (brain hemorrhage from a vein-malformation I was born with + slightly high blood-pressure and LOTS of stress) 3 years ago (I'm 37 years old now). I had brain surgery 3 days later... seemed to heal up pretty well... was healthy enough to return to work within 6 months time. There was a couple times... maybe twice a year... that I've had sharp pains right above my left ear near my surgery sight... VERY SHARP and VERY SUDDEN... then the pain instantly goes away like nothing has happened. I haven't been concerned since there's so much time in between.. I assumed it's a side-effect from brain surgery. Very recently I had another symptom occur that's more worry-some. Twice in the last month I've been sitting on the couch watching tv, drinking coffee (which I drink 4 cups everyday, no changes in food, drink, or anything) and all of a sudden I wanted to say something to my husband, but I couldn't speak. It was really weird to have regular thoughts and not be able to speak.... until I felt like laughing about it, but I couldn't even laugh. I noticed my head felt different... like maybe there was a low-vibration going on inside my head... like if I was riding in a train or on a motorcycle.... but I was at home sitting on the couch. I looked back up at the tv, but seeing movement made it feel worse... like the vision and speech areas of my brain were twitching and unable to respond... though my thought process was fine. Since I work outdoors and do a lot of driving alone I'm more concerned about this happening again. What could this be? Any suggestions?
