I unfortunately was involved in accident3 days ago that involved a metal pole and my right hand. A bruise came up straight away around my middle finger knuckle and it's painful to touch around the surrounding area. I've also got faint bruising going down towards my little finger and the rest of the back of my hand feels a bit tender. I can clench my fist and have got all my movement but it is a bit tender now and then when I do certain things.

Have I just bruised my knuckle or is it best to go to my local A&E to get it checked out?
