I think I may have a UTI. Urinalysis results- positive

I think I may have a UTI. Urinalysis results- positive proteins, nitrites, pH 6, specific gravity 1.005, leukocytes +++500. Flank pain currently managed by ibuprofen. Is it safe to wait for my doctors appointment tomorrow or should I go to emergency tonight?

I went to the doctor today and they did a urinalysis. it indicated leukocytes were at 500 wbc/u L. does that indicate a uti? I was told it was going to be sent to the lab for testing. She told me that she didn t think it was a result of contamination. All other aspects of the test were normal or negative, and my p.h. was 5.0 & s.g. is 1.025. If it is not a uti, what is the cause of the high number of leukocytes? would that still be treated as an infection? She put me on macrobid 100 mg, 2 times a day for 7 days while they do the lab.
