I stepped on a rusty wire and it penetrated through my underground work boot and into my foot. I spent a few hours walking on the wound drenched in sweat inside the boot. It became very painfull over the next few hours. Now the next day at work my boss doesnot belive the pain because the wound is not so big. However, the doctor has put me on antibiotics and applied a pulling cream. He says that my foot could easily get infected. It needs rest. Now I wander is the treatment necassary because my boss is making me feel guilty?
