I sometimes wake up feeling hungover, but I haven't been drinking alcohol AT ALL. I went to bed at 1:00 a.m. this morning, and woke up at 11:00, so plenty of sleep, but I feel that if I laid own I could go to sleep again with no problems. But I have a teasing headache and slight nausea, hard to hold my head up causing strain in my spine and shoulders, and it's interfering with my thought processes - much like I would feel if I had been drinking and trying to fight against its effects.
I am a 58-year-old woman, had a heart attack 2.5 years ago, and have had these episodes many times over the years, though a lot of times I contributed it to lack of sleep. I am not a drinker except on social occasions -- maybe every six weeks or so.
