I Recently Visited A Specialist For Soreness In My Throat

I recently visited a specialist for soreness in my throat and she did not see anything that suggested thyroid problems. Actually I had a ultrasound done a few times to make sure nothing was wrong... However, I am still experiencing discomfort in my upper throat/neck area... Sometimes it hurts to laugh, cry, sing and etc... Sometimes I don't have to be doing anything straining it will just hurts very bad... Most of the time I have to stop talking until the pain eases up... Now, I have very bad sinus issues that leads to draining and headaches. Can this be the cause for my discomfort? Also, I am starting to experience what may be migraines, according to what I have read. Can you tell what should do and questions to ask my doctor?
