I Recently Had A Superficial Venous Thrombus-saphinous Vein- Noted About

I recently had a superficial venous thrombus-saphinous vein- noted about two weeks ago. I started having shortness of breath and twinges of chest pain and went to the ER. CAT scan shows no PE. US shows cleared clot, normal CXR and only stable LBBB on EKG. Could I have had a PE that cleared itself?
