How Can UTI And Blood In Urine Be Treated While Having Chronic Pelvic Pain?
I recently had Uti and dr said I had blood in urine and she was going to send my urine for further testing. I received a call yesterday from the nurse indicating my test was abnormal and I need to follow up with my promary. I’ve had pelvic pain for approx 6 months my ob dr did an ultra sound and everything was normal. I still have the pelvic pain and now blood in my urine. Now I’m very concern. What could this be?

You have UTI and now you are having blood in urine with chronic pelvic pain. Your symptoms may be indicative of Kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, bladder or kidney stone, enlarged prostrate, cancer, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Urologist. Get a blood test GFR done to check how well your kidneys are filtering your blood.
Do a urine test and check for albumin. Albumin is a protein that passes into the urine when the kidneys get damaged. GFR count of 15 or less is called kidney failure. Most people with low GFR level need a kidney transplant or dialysis. Your treating doctor will tell you to do CT/MRI, USG tests, cystoscopy, etc. Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made.
To get relieve from pain you can take spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one stat when needed. Taking acetaminophen, one stat will also give relief. Take adequate water and fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. Stay away from addictions if any.

It could be something as simple as urinary stones. The differential diagnoses largely depend on your age. If you are older than 50, it is important to rule out malignancy, typically by CT urography and cystoscopy.
