I recently found out I have a medium to large hiatial hernia that will need surgery. I have recently (within the past few days) been feeling as though there is pressure on my chest now and have had trouble keeping food down once eating. I am also experiencing sharp pains in my chest when I eat or even at random. I am curious as to of my hernia may be worsening? I am also 20 weeks pregnant but the vomiting is not from any pregnancy related naseua. It is literally within minutes of beginning eating I feel as though I am going to vomit and then once I've completeted eating I usually end up throwing up all of my food. I managed to keep some food down yesterday but ended up throwing up in the evening and it was all of the food I had kept down even though it had been hours since I had eaten. Hoping for some advice on what the issue may be. Thank you.
