I Just Had Quadruple Bypass Surgery A Month And A

I just had quadruple bypass surgery a month and a half ago. I also have early stages of COPD. I was given tylenol 3 for pain. I did ok with it. I would have preferred something stronger but I survived. Now I have a new problem. For a week I have been suffering severe excruciating nerve pain in my chest, mainly on the right side. Thinking it was due to my moving my arm too much, I tried not to use it often. I am finding out that now I believe it my moving my head that is causing the sudden pain that has brought me to tears at time. At first, it would happen for just a few minutes but now it is more frequent and longer lasting. I have called the heart surgeon on several ocassions with no help. This pain is by far worst than the pain I endured right after surgery and the following 3 weeks. I asked about possible nerve medicine. I am not knowledgeable with medicines. They said there were none available. I asked for a stronger pain medicine asking if there was a stronger tylenol ie tylenol 4. He said no, but I did research and found that there is. Would there be a reason to not prescribe stronger pain medicine or even nerve pain medicine. This has literally forced me to stay in bed since I get a little better relief by keeping my head flat and still. Please help. This just does not seem fair that I can not get any more help. Thank you.
