I just had a CTscan to check for bleeding or ulcers in my abdomen, but none were found.
However, my spleen was enlarged, and I have hernia. My potassium level is down to 2.2, I think (I might be wrong, it could be 2.5). My doctor thinks I have IBS based on all my other symptoms, but last week I experienced extremely dark blood in, on, and following my stool. Went to ER, tested positive for blood in stool, no fissures/piles/tears. Now with the whole spleen thing, I'm wondering if I'm experiencing something other than just IBS. I would appreciate some clarity, as I have continued to bleed from my backside for over a week.
