I hit my elbow on a railing as I stumbled on some steps yesterday. Right on the bone on the outside of my arm. It hurt at the time, but not too bad. I continued to use it without any issues. Over the next couple of hours it swelled up. The swelling was in a concentrated spot right on the elbow bone, about the size of a golf ball. It hurt to touch - like a bruise - but not bad enough to worry about. There is no pain from use, bending, stretching, etc. I put some ice on it and it did seem to reduce the swelling somewhat. I slept ok last night. This morning the swelling is still there but more spread out. Without restriction or pain from use, will the swelling just go down on it's own or could there be another issue that I should be checked for?
