I have suffered from sweaty feet my entire life. I am now 45 years old. (Female) Lately, when my feet get sweaty in shoes they smell of ammonia. I have washed my shoes a number of times but it continues to happen. If I don't wear shoes or slippers, my feet get really dry and cracked. I have had my blood sugar checked in fear of diabetes but it is well within the non-risk limits. I don't seem to find anything but ads for odor eaters and anti-fungal sprays, (which makes the dry/cracking worse), when I search online, and I'm thinking there must be an underlying issue. Where should I start?
