I Have Regrets Of Allowing My Husband Not To Go

I have regrets of allowing my husband not to go to rehab after a six week stay in the hospital. He had amylodosis, heart failure, end renal failure, out of control diabetes, He was on a milirinone infusion, , he had an ICD, He was taking lyrica for his nerapathy, pills for insomina, high blood pressure pills and kidney pills for the edema. He was in depression and he had lost a lot of weight being 6'3" and about 138 lbs. He was lethergic, no energy, in pain. My first thinking was he would die if he went in a strange place. Then at the last minute
, I wanted to return him to the hospital, but he refused to go and especially refused dialysis. I had to administer morphine for his pain. I always think now , some how he would be alive today had he gone to rehab. I feel so terrible and conflicted for not just trying it. Am I being delusional or was it just inevitable?
