I have pre-diabetes and hematocrit is 51.2. I still am not sure if I have vera polycythemia or secondary P. My glucose was 131 last month. 20 years ago my hematocrit was 53.6 due to co poisoning and I was a non-smoker. One week after a forced termination my hematocrit returned to normal. I'm still waiting for clairification of weather or not I have primary polycythemia or secondary. Can you help me while I'm still waiting for these tests?
