I Have Osteoarthritis In My Ankles Resulting From Severe Flat

I have osteoarthritis in my ankles resulting from severe flat feet present at birth. I have never been able to perform a job that requires standing. 15 years ago I had surgery which placed an implant into both feet. 3 months ago I had the implant removed from my left foot and had an ankle fusion, leaving 4 screws and 2 staples in my ankle. I have graduated to a shoe but am still using crutches. My podiatrist has recommended the same surgery for my right foot. Can I qualify for disability benefits?
