I Have Headaches, Pressure And Dizziness Since Jogging. Could The Jogging Have Triggered Something?

Hi

I have headaches and pressure and dizziness for couple of days now since jogging.My eye sight doesn't seem very good and quite sensitivie to light.I have booked to have eyes tested tomorrow.I used to trampoline one Year ago but gave it up after getting dizzy and headaches.Could the jogging of triggered something?

Yes, jogging could be responsible for all these symptoms. I would suggest you to take up a milder form of exercise like brisk walk. Start with 15 minutes a day and gradually build up to 30-45 minutes atleast 5 days a week. Always warm up for 5 minutes and cool down for 5 minutes before brisk walk. Warm up is necessary to prepare your body for a faster pace during brisk walk and cool down is necessary to gradually reduce the pulse rate after brisk walk. Also cool down prevents one from having dizziness and fainting spells. So warm up before exercise by walking slowly for 5 minutes and cool down after exercise for walking for another 5 minutes slowly. In this way you can prevent any casualty arising from sudden intense activity.

Just to be on the safer side, you can also get your blood pressure checked to ensure that you do not have hypertension. Hope I have answered your query satisfactorily.
