I have had what seems to be strained vocal cords on only left side of throat on and off for a little over three weeks. I get a terrible sore throat on only left side, hoarseness and it becomes painful to talk. I rest voice for a day or two and it gets better, but comes back when I have to talk over noise. I do not smoke and only drink a beer or two every couple of weekends. I am in Synthroid and once or twice a week, heartburn. The one sided is the part that I don't understand. Thanks for any help.
