Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had pain for the last year in the upper stomach region. Tender to the touch, at times nauseous and loss of appetite at times also. I do have an enlarged liver which was checked with a series of blood test that came back normal. I have acid reflux which is being treated with prescription and was checked with an upper GI .... no permanent damage. My gallbladder was removed over 35 years ago. I don't have to eat very much and I will feel like I had a full course meal with pressure and heavy feeling. I stopped eating meat for the last week thinking this was the problem which gave me some relief but the tenderness and pressure has acted up again. I've had an ultrasound and ct scan which only showed the enlarged liver. Where do I go from here?
