Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had muscle and leg cramps for a couple years now. I was in an auto accident last January 2015. My Orthopedic Doctor referred me to a Neurologist. Orthopedic doctor had removed a bakers cycst behind my left knee. This is the same knee I went to see Neurologist for. I had an epidural for back pain but didn't do anything for the knee feeling like it wants to pop. Neurologist placed me on Amitriptyline (25 mg), one tablet at 8pm each night. In two weeks he raised the amt to three (75mg) at 8pm. This made me a bit shakey the first time but smoothed out and I have not much pain at all now. Except that knee still wants to pop. Am I seeing the wrongs doctors?
