I have had four knee surgeries since November 21 2017.

I have had four knee surgeries since November 21 2017. Currently the doctor I have is out of ideas why my knee is still draining In July I found out I was allergic to nickel. The doctor went in on the 28th of August and replaced my knee again. It is still drained every week 45 to 55 cc of fluid and has never cleared up . Currently I believe I am over 3000 cc of fluid drained from the right knee any ideas what we can do? There is no signs it is going to stop soon.

Hi thank you for your reply. I had surgery April 23rd 2017 and becasue I had to wait a month before doing therapy because my legs shut down from being so inactive for 2 years when I was so use to being active here I am November and still trying to feel like I will walk without that awful thing as I call it locking my knee. I still have not knelt in two years, it feels as if it going to tear apart if I try.

I had a TKR on Jan 21. Ever since my discharge I have experienced a severe burning sensation from my hip to my knee (surgical leg). Nothing seems to relieve the pain. I feel it s hindering progress with my therapy. Tonight I read about non-rash shingles detected through a blood test. Is there some suggestion I can follow to relieve the pain until other plans are made. I ve tried ice, heat, various lineaments and a spray containing lidocaine. Nothing seems to work. Thanks.

I ve had one knee replacement surgery and, although it went very well and I have very little discomfort, the kneecap is uncomfortable. I may need the other knee replaced as well and am wondering about the option of the Oxford knee since it is a partial knee. Do you know about that?
