I have fibromyalgia along with muscle knots in my face, neck, shoulders, arms. wrists, hands. legs and feet, neuropathy, a failed surgery to my left hand where they took out the bone at the base of my thumb and carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, I was abused by my ex husband and his son and have had my fingers broken several times and the thumb popped out of the socket, I was threatened into not reporting them, long story , I have been suffering many years, my doc I see hasn't helped me at all, none of the drugs I took helped me and gave me bad side effects, I also am drug sensitive, I also am constantly sweating day and night, I break into sweats, for the past 4 years, my fingers crack, my body aches, I am in constant pain and I have sleep apnea . I have tried the cpap and no luck with that, and now I have an oral appliance and it hurts my jaw and my mouth still dries out all night long, I shallow breathe a lot due to my intense pain, I am taking a meditation course and researching all I can. I was a dental hygienist for 23 years. I cant sleep, cant function, and cant work like a normal person anymore. I am depressed and full of anxiety which I take Effexor for. I went through aqua therapy which only aggravated my condition and pain, did a session of 6 weeks dry needling last spring and am doing another one now , with no permanent relief, I am frustrated and so is my PT, now, finally at my request, my doc has referred me to see a rheumatologist, but, his med assistant tells me that they see me once and refer me back to my GP and she doesn't think he treats people with fibromyalgia . REALLY? so, what has he been doing all these months? I am beside myself with pain, if I take a hot bath, it comforts me, and that's all I have now. I also have a growth in the r side of my throat, I can feel it , but no one so far can see it, my neck is swollen here to the size of a baseball, it is very painful and it comes and goes, I finally have been referred to see an ENT on Aug. 28, the last time I saw an ENT in Marshfield, they said my parotid gland was inflamed and that was it, no relief or treatment, I had one ENT slide a wire through my parotid gland a few years ago to unplug it, and he told me to suck on lemon drops. and put me on an antibiotic. I live in Wisconsin Raoids, where its not great for healthcare, I used to live in Madison, Wi., but my 80 and 90 yr old parents needed help and I was the only sibling that could be uprooted to help, and now I am stuck here with unprofessional med assistants and non progressive Docs., and I am on Forward Health Badger care medical assistance. What can I do and who can I see to help me?And now I see this will cost me money that I don't have, so I am out of luck, great
