I have chronic back pain,arthritis and hip pain. My doctor told me to quit using NSAIDS because of reduced kidney function. What can I use besides acetiminofen(doesn't work for me) for pain. The "opiod crisis" has made hydrocodone difficult to get. Always before I would tak 400mg of ibuprofen and1/2 of a hydrocodone tablet and that would work. I am an electrician and have worked very hard physically all my life. I am 69 yrs old.
