I Have Been Recently Diagnosed By Acute Pancreatesis Luckily No

I have been recently diagnosed by Acute Pancreatesis luckily no necrosis formation was observed I believe main reason for this was alcohol consumption because I was consuming fair amount of alcohol from past 4 years every day also I had diabetes which I had ignored from 2 years and more over this acute pancreatesis condition was observed when I was in Car accident and I had been observed bruises near stomach or abdomen region due to tightening of seat belt so really any of the above reasons could be my cause for the pancreatesis after I had been discharged from hospital my first week sugar level crossed 300+ and I was on insulin so I was asked to increase insulin usage to 30 in morning 10 in afternoon and 20 units at night and my sugar level has decreased to FBS - 109 and PPBS - 170 but my doctor has asked me to continue the same for next 2 months now this is painful as i am ok with oral medication please help
