I have been mildly constipated since Saturday June 2nd. I normally have 2 -3 bowel movements each day without needing to strain. Since Saturday I may have had 3 bowel movements. I have had to strain in order to deficate. Today I noticed blood and a tiny blood clot on my toilet paper. When I looked into the toilet I saw bright red blood in the water. I did not strain for this bowel movement. I am a 49 year old black, overweight female. I had a colonoscopy last year. I have lost 53 pounds since January 2018 due to diet change. What could the reason for the bleeding be?
