I have been having what I think are allergic reactions

I have been having what I think are allergic reactions and don't know what its from - burning in the face, then hives on my chest, head and upper arms. Never goes below that and always stops quickly. All toiletries the same old, and its happened with an organic peanut butter protein bar, protein shake, egg and bacon breakfast taco, and egg quiche. All main ingredients I continue to eat separately and am fine, so it would have to be something insidious. Or, does it sound like something other than an allergy?

Hi there, I seem to be allergic to, I think, horseflies. However they do not bite (I feel no sting or pain) but merely sit on my for a second or two before I shoo them away. However, several hours later huge (1cm in diameter) red lumps appear at the same spot that they sat that later on form a waterblister. It itches like mad! I have anti-allergy ontment and take oral anti histamines but it doesn t seem to help. The blisters then open and I have these red open sores. I live in Namibia and our family likes hiking in the veld. It is too warm for long sleeves and the flies mostly sit on my arms. Regards, Susan
