I have been having stomach problems every morning since I had a very sever case of C-Diff a couple of years ago. For the most part it isolates to morning (occasionally other times), but I know without fail I will struggle in the morning with cramping pain and having to go through a process of bathroom (not diarrhea) and laying down. Sometimes it lasts 10 minutes, sometimes 45.
2 nights ago for the 1st time it woke me up in the middle of the night with similar pain, but magnified by 1000! I was doubled over for about 8 hours. One of the biggest differences besides the severity of the pain and length was I had these stomach spasms that felt almost like labor. I would feel the need to bear down with no result. After the 8 hours it subsided to tolerable, but it wasn't normal all day. Oh, I had low back pain too.
Then last night I woke up about 4am starting to feel things worsen again. About 6:30 am I got a SEVERE stabbing pain in my upper right abdomen that would shoot down that side of my stomach. That lasted about an hour and a half. Since then it hasn't been normal, but tolerable. Radiating in and out a bit.
These are the major symptoms. I am sure I am forgetting something.
