I have been experiencing having an air duct under my skin being enlarged for the last two days. This is just under my jaw, on one side only.
This first started happening to me in May of 1988. A doctor who examined it then explained that we all have vestigial ducts under our skin, and that its likely a small calcium deposit. This comes and goes, and is infrequent. When it does happen, it causes minor pain, but it hurts to eat and swallow.
Other than to take ibuprofen and wait for it to pass, what can I do? And what is this called?
Thanks,
Chuck
