I have been experiencing bilateral hand/fingers swelling off and on for about a month. When it first occurred, my doctor put me on steroids and that did help for about a week, but then the symptoms returned. All of my lab results have been negative (heart, liver, kidneys) and I had a chest xray that was also negative. I also have some facial edema under my eyes (mild). My hands feel very tight and I cannot close them all the way. What could be the problem?
