I Have Been Diagnosed With Acid Reflux And Have Been

I have been diagnosed with acid reflux and have been taking omeprozole for months now. I feel sometimes it works, but for the most part, I feel nauses all the time, desperately wanting to throw up. It feels like I always have mucus in my chest, at least since November. And every time I eat, or take my medications, both get stuck in my throat. I can actually cough up the food I have ate, or the medication I'm trying to take. Could I have something else? Or need to change medication? Honestly I would love a natural route. Any suggestions?
