I have an issues with my lower leg/shim areas since high school. Any attempt to do any type of running and or walking for a lengthy period would result in pain and then complete numbness to my lower leg and feet. I have managed to deal with it but now in my late 40's it seems to be more and more of a problem. I was told we have "in our family tree" an issue where others before me have had growths or cyst in their legs and it seems as if I was the only one who never said anything about it or toughed it out. I am just curious to know if anyone might know what this is and or what type of doctor I should seek out for help?
