I have a question regarding birth control pills and sexual activity. I started taking hormonal birth control one month ago. During that month I forgot to take my pill once (during the second week) which endured a period. Two weeks later, I started the sugar pills and only bled a tiny bit (about two days). On the 6th sugar pill out of seven, my partner and I had sex using a condom, however he ended up taking off the condom and ejeculsting at the top of my vulva. I know the chance of sperm entering the vagina is low but, in the off chance some did enter my vagina, am I protected from my birth control? Would it be wise for me to take emergency contraception like the plan b pill, or is the chance of pregnancy so low that it isn't worth it?
