I Have A Number Of Symptoms That May Be The

I have a number of symptoms that may be the result of one problem, and after much online research I would like your opinion. I have taken pramipexole for a number of years for RLS, and recently found that many of my symptoms, especially weight gain have been the result. My doctor told me how to titrate off of the medication over a month ago. I was told to take magnesium and iron to help the RLS, and have been taking magnesium. However, I still have not started the iron since my research results state that older men should not take iron. I have had some lab work done for ferritin which has come back as elevated. I'm still experiencing the achey joints, difficulty going to sleep, fatigue, aching lower back, snoring, occassional difficulty swallowing, occassional stiff and achey neck and headaches. But the greatest concern is the pain and tenderness in the left abdominal area just below my ribs. Is hemochromatosis a possibility? Again, these are some, not all of the symptoms that I found could be related to pramipexole. What do you suggest my research path should take?
